Nicole Haunroth is the founder of The Couples' and Family Counseling and Wellness Center, LLC. She is a licensed professional counselor licensed in South Carolina and Virginia with 6 years of experience working as an individual, couples, and family counselor. She has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD.
Nicole is a Certified EMDR therapist, trained in treating people who have had traumatic experiences using a specialized treatment called EMDR.

Lauren Joosten is a Licensed Independent
Social Worker, practicing as a therapist for 6 years and providing counseling in the social work field for over 12 years. Lauren utilizes an eclectic approach when providing therapy. Lauren views all clients through a trauma-informed lens, with great sensitivity and empathy. She also views all people as unique, but equal and practices through a strengths-based approach.

Kristi graduated from Columbia College with a bachelor’s degree in child and Family studies and is currently enrolled in the Master of Counseling at Walden University. She is a Child and Family Behavior Interventionist and enjoys working with children and their families to help kids overcome some troubling behavior at home and school. While in College, she did an internship with Lexington County Drug Court as a Behavior Interventionist to help those with substance abuse to hopefully stay out of jail and being able to keep their families together.
Kristi also enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling and going to sporting events. Reading is a big passion of her and she loves to read non-fiction books, She mainly reads autobiographies. Samantha Giermann was born on February 10, 1979, at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX, and quickly moved to Cypress, California, in 1980. She graduated from La Mirada High School in June 1997 before embarking on a career in healthcare.
In August 2000, Samantha completed her CNA certification in Ontario, CA, launching her career as a Certified Nurses Assistant. She worked diligently at Chino Hills Medical Center and various Southern California hospitals until 2002. During this time, she married Andrew Giermann on June 16, 2001, and later relocated to Camp Pendleton, CA, supporting him through multiple military deployments across different bases.
From mid-2002 to 2015, Samantha focused on raising her three children and providing stability for her family in Hawaii, Twentynine Palms, CA, and Camp Lejeune, NC. In 2015, following her husband's military retirement, Samantha became a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and began her healthcare career in Burgaw, NC. After relocating to Durham, NC, she joined Living Well Behavioral Care in Knightdale.
In 2020, Samantha pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University while continuing to work full-time. By 2023, she successfully earned her BA degree, a testament to her dedication and passion for helping others.
In June 2022, Samantha co-founded Coastal Carolina Behavioral Health in Surfside Beach, SC, with her business partner. By March 1, 2023, the clinic opened its doors, spearheaded by Samantha's roles as CCMA, Medical Coder and Biller, and Marketing Specialist. Within the first year, Coastal Carolina Behavioral Health made a significant impact, serving over 1500 patients on a recurring basis as of June 2024.

Katelynn Hine is a licensed professional counselor associate (LPCA) licensed in South Carolina with 2 years of experience working with individuals, couples, family's, and groups. She has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, Autism, LGTBQ+ issues, and family conflict.
Katelynn is a Certified Autism-Informed Professional trained in working with individuals with Autism, and a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy therapist trained in treating families and individuals with family conflict.

Tamara Slanoc is a native of Ohio and lived in many areas of the United States before settling in South Carolina. She began college at Lorain County Community College, attended Ohio University for her undergraduate degrees, and The University of Oklahoma for her Master of Education. As a middle school Special Education teacher, she works with children who have a wide range of developmental, learning, social, physical, and emotional challenges. Tam is a mother of two young adults, one diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and one with chronic illness. She knows first hand the struggles and frustrations of getting a diagnosis, dealing with insurance, finding support, and trying to figure out how best to support your child. An Air Force Veteran, Tam spent her active duty time as a Security Forces member at Minot AFB, ND.
